Things are moving fast at Metaview. Scary fast.
This month, we've made our AI agents 18x faster, added new ways to assess candidates, and made interview notes even easier to capture.
Plus, we've introduced smarter sourcing filters, and new ways to keep your calls private.
Here's what's new.
1. Take interview notes without a bot joining the call.
Not everyone wants a notetaker bot sitting in their interviews. Now you can capture the same Metaview notes without one.

Our new desktop app lets you record conversations without a bot joining the meeting. You still get the structured notes and interview intelligence you're used to, without an extra participant appearing on the call.
It's particularly useful for sensitive calls, or teams that prefer a more natural meeting experience.
We've also added automatic redaction of sensitive information to notes, whether you're using the botless option or the regular notetaker. More flexibility for your interviews, with better protection for the information candidates share.
2. Metaview AI agents are now 18x faster.
Waiting minutes for an AI agent to finish a task? That's already starting to feel outdated.
We've upgraded our Sourcing and Application Review agents with Jev from TypeSafe AI. That’s under-the-hood stuff, but the upshot is they’re now 18x faster.

Complex actions that previously took minutes now happen in seconds.
That means less waiting for candidate searches, faster application reviews, and more time to act on the results. Whether you're sourcing a niche role or working through hundreds of inbound applications, your agents can now do the heavy lifting much faster.
Same recruiting intelligence. A lot less waiting around.
3. Test real skills with coding and role-play questions.
Resumes tell you what candidates claim they can do. Screening should help you find out whether they can actually do it.
Metaview Screening now supports coding questions and interactive role-play scenarios to evaluate practical skills before moving candidates forward.

For technical roles, the agent can put code on screen and ask candidates to explain what it does, spot a bug, or talk through how they'd fix it. You're testing how candidates reason through real problems, not just whether they can recite technical concepts.
For sales, support, and other customer-facing roles, the agent can play out realistic scenarios.
See how candidates handle objections, solve customer problems, and communicate under pressure. And without adding more screening calls to your recruiters' calendars.
4. Call candidates directly from your browser.
Sometimes the fastest way to move a candidate forward is to pick up the phone. Now you can do it straight from Metaview.

Click Phone candidate in the app to call someone directly from your computer. There's no need to switch to your phone or a separate calling tool.
Metaview also starts recording notes for the conversation, so you don't have to worry about capturing everything while you're talking. Whether it's a quick follow up or a full recruiter screen, the context stays in Metaview and you can focus on the candidate.
5. Source candidates using company funding insights.
Where someone has worked can tell you plenty about what they're good at. And sometimes, the type of company matters just as much as the job title.
Metaview Sourcing now uses company intelligence data to find candidates based on their employers' funding stages, ownership, investors, and acquisition history.

Looking for someone who's helped scale a Series B startup? Or candidates who've worked at companies backed by a particular investor? You can now use that context to make your searches more targeted.
It's another way to move beyond basic titles and keywords, and find candidates whose experience actually matches the environment you're hiring for.
